CLONSILLA, DUBLIN
Clonsilla (aka meadow) is a suburb village in the West of County Fingal, in Ireland. Clonsilla is now a substantial size residential area.
The village lies within the Dublin fifteen postal district, the Dublin West, and is administered by the County Council of Finga.
In recent years, Clonsilla has had a lot of development especially residential housing.
Lambourn and Hartstown has developed in the last fifteen years. As a result, the population of the area has increased a lot.
Nowadays, Clonsilla is at times considered to be part of a Greater Blanchardstown area.
There are many places of interest in Clonsilla, including Luttrellstown Castle, which dates back to the early fifteenth century. It was owned by members of the Guinness family,and is a hotel these days. It was in the spotlight recently, when David Beckham and Victoria Adams married there.
The Shackleton Gardens at Beech Park houses a well known walled
garden containing a lot of rare flower species and formerly owned
by the
Shackleton family.
Beech Park is an attractive public park, which opened back in two
thousand and nine, looked after by Fingal County Council
The Royal Canal has a lot of different f freshwater fish, such
as roach, pike and perch.
