DEANSGRANGE, DUBLIN
Deansgrange is a suburb area of Dublin city in Ireland. The area is located near a crossroads, between Dun Laoghaire, Foxrock and Blackrock.
This area has amenities for the surrounding housing estates, including a bank, a library, a supermarket and a public house.
The area of Deansgrange, is so called because of the Kill O'The Grange Church (church of Ireland), which is located to the East of the area. A church primary school is situated to the South of the church building.
There is a linear park named Meadowvale which a river runs through, East and parallel to Clonkeen Road.
Meadowvale park is used for several local sports clubs, including Meadowvale Tennis Club, Granada football club, and Cuala (GAA). There is also a Secondary school located here called Clonkeen College Secondary School.
