FINGLAS
Finglas is a suburb of Dublin city in Ireland. It is located to the North of Dublin, and mostly lies in the postal district of Dublin11. It is situated near Dublin airport, off junction five of the M50 motorway.
Ballymun and Glasnevin are districts close to Finglas, and St. Margaret's is a village that lies to the north.
The first commercial airport was built at Kildonan in Finglas back in nineteen thirty two, and was used for the first Irish commercial aircraft.
Finglas was later developed with large housing estates, for many Northern inner-city Dublin people, back in the nineteen fifties.
A lot of the housing estates were named after famous republican people from the early twentieth century Irish history.
Finglas has increased at a fast pace in recently, and very big private developments have erected near the village, like the majority of areas of Dublin's North West.
