FIRHOUSE
Firhouse is a suburb of Dublin city in Ireland. It is situated in the postal district of Dublin 24 of South Dublin county, and has developed from what used to be a historical small rural village.
Firhouse lies to the South of the River Dodder, and is near the areas of Templeogue and Knocklyon.
Firhouse can be accessed by road via the M50 motorway at junction twelve. There are many Dublin bus routes that pass through the area, including the 74 and 49 buses.
Firhouse is situated near the foothills of theDublin Mountains in an area that was mostly rural in the past. Development started in the last few decades, although there used to be a several mills.
