FOXROCK
Foxrock is a suburb of Dublin city in the Republic of Ireland. It is situated in the county of Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown, in the postal district of Dublin eighteen.
The train line from Dublin used to pass through Foxrock via Harcourt street, and closed in the late fiftees. The line has now been opened again as the Green Line ( Luas Light Rail) system. The 46A Dublin bus runs from Foxrock to Dublin city centre on a regular basis.
The famous Leopardstown racecourse is situated at Foxrock, and this course is now the only remaining horseracing course in the greater metropolitan area.
It is the second most important racecourse in Ireland next to the Curragh located in County Kildare. There is also a a golf course located at Leopardstown.
