GLENCULLEN
Glencullen is a village located on the R116 road in South County Dublin. There is a bus service which services Glencullen. Bus Atha Cliath 44B leaves from Dundrum Luas station, and travels to Glencullen.
The famous Johnnie Fox's Pub is located in centre of Glencullen village. The pub dates back to seventeen ninety eight, which was also the year of the Irish Rebellion led by the famous rebellion leader Theobald Wolfe Tone.
The pub is famous for being known as the highest pub in Ireland and probably one of the oldest. The pub was also used as a meeting place during the nineteen sixteen Rebellion.
Glencullen houses the (Stars of Erin) G.A.A club. The Stars started back in the early nineteen hundreds and have won two All Ireland Club titles. There is also a golf club at Glencullen, which has an eighteen hole pitch and putt course and a nine hole golf course.
