MILLTOWN, DUBLIN
Milltown is a suburb of Dublin city in Ireland. It is located on the South side of the city, and was so called because it used to be a working mill site located on the river Dodder.
Milltown has an old nineteenth century railway bridge across the river, which used to be a member of the Harcourt Street Railway Line which started from Harcourt Street and run to Bray.
This bridge was re-opened back in two thousand and four, and runs from Sandyford to St Stephen's green.
The area and the bridge, was sometimes known as the Nine Arches. Milltown railway station, has been running since the eightee sixtees, but was closed down back in the late fiftees.
