Phibsborough is near the city centre, and around 2 Km (1.25 miles) from the River Liffey, which bisects Dublin city.
Phibsborough has recently experienced an increase in house prices, like Dublin city. Developers have also had planning permission granted to upgrade the shopping centre in Phibsborough, through a multi-million Euro refurbishment.
The district of Phibsborough is served b Dublin bus routes, including 140, 122, 121, 120 and many more. It is also served by the Dublin suburban railway system, through the Drumcondra train station.
