RATHCOOLE, DUBLIN
Rathcoole is a village and suburb, situated South West of Tallaght in South County Dublin, Ireland. It is located near the N7 main road and bordered the small village of Saggart.
The largest housing development in Rathcoole is called Forest Hills, It is situated between Beechwood Lawns and the west part of the village. beechwood Lawns lies betwwen the park and main street.
There is a very attractive landscaped park situated in Rathcoole, serviced by South Dublin County Council. There is also a community centre, which arranges training courses and local events.
One of the most famous pubs in Rathcoole is An Poitin Stil, which dates back to the mid seventeenth century. There are several other pubs in the village, including The Rathcoole Inn, Baurnafea House and Muldowneys.
