Rathgar is a suburb, located approximately three kilometres to the South of Dublin city in Ireland. The suburb has many retail outlets and also a lot of good local pubs, including Comans Bar.
Rathgar has a good village atmosphere with many shops including, a Superquin supermarket, a butchers shop,a bakery, and many more
There is a good choice of restaurants including a couple of Thia restaurants TK II and Kanum, an Indian restaurant called Poppadoms and a French style restaurant called Bijou.
