SWORDS, DUBLIN
Swords is a town located about thirteen kilometres (8 miles) from Dublin, in Ireland. It is the county town of Fingal, and is part of Dublin's commuter belt.
Since the mid-nineties, Swords has had improvements in public buildings, shop fronts and restoration work on Swords castle.
There are many bus routes to Dublin city centre from Swords, including 43, 33, 41B, 41C and 41N.
The Dublin bus 142 and the swords express are the direct fast buses to Dublin city centre.
The numbers 33B and 102 leave from Dublin Airport through Swords to Portmarnock.
Fingal County Hall dominates the Northern part of Main Street. Swords Castle is undergoing restoration work and is will become a centre of leisure and a tourist attraction.
Brian Boru's body was said to have been moved to Swords Abbey, after the famous Battle of Clontarf.
